The Package starts with the Dive Rite Transpac XT Harness, exceptionally rugged, yet beautifully streamlined. Followed by the TransPac XT which redefines expectations about function and comfort in scuba harnesses. Dive Rite’s radically updated TransPac XT now provides a true mountaineer backpack design with an integrated hip belt, moulded foam lumbar support and ergonomic shoulder pads. Available in sizes XS-XXL with easy customisation options at the shoulder and waist plate, the TransPac XT is designed to fit any size diver, including children.
The chest strap provides ultimate load distribution, and when used with the removable, 1.5″ (3.8 cm) crotch strap, it provides outstanding stability and comfort in the water. Transition plates at the shoulders allow for quick addition/deletion of hardware and finite adjustments. Dual cam straps with stainless steel buckles are positioned to give plenty of head room for easy manoeuvring in the water.
Neutrally buoyant, the TransPac XT weighs less than 5 lbs (2.29 kg) and packs flat for travel. Optional weight pockets slide easily onto the waist belt. The soft backpack is 1,000 denier ballistic nylon and the side plates and hardware are marine grade stainless steel. The shoulder straps feature pivot rings at chest and acetyl resin squeeze style quick-release buckles for easy don/doff.
There are four 2″ (5.1 cm) D-Rings on each Shoulder Strap on sizes L-XXL and 2 each on XS to M. The harnesses 2″ (5.1 cm) nylon webbing is rated to 7,000 lb. (3175 kg) breaking strength. The TransPac XT weighs 4.25 lb. to just less than 5 lb. (1.93 to 2.26 kg) depending on size.
The Dive Rite Travel EXP Wing: The Travel EXP is a lightweight wing designed for single tank, warm water diving. Dive Rite’s Travel series of wings are low profile and ideal for travel and divers who wear a minimal amount of weight. At 25 lb. (11.3 kg) of lift, the Travel EXP can accommodate one 80 cubic feet (12 litre) tank ,with no more than 16 lb. (7.26 kg) of additional weight.
The Dive Rite Travel EXP Wing is manufactured from the durable 1680 Denier Ballistic Nylon EXP Material, that is resistant to tears and abrasions. The Travel EXP line’s toughness is further enhanced with a heavy duty, radio frequency (RF) welded 210 Denier Nylon Urethane Laminated Bladder. The Travel EXP has urethane flanges welded in place which makes it easy to switch out corrugated hose, and over-pressure relief valves without tools.
