Garmin Descent T2 Transmitter

Description

The Garmin Descent T2 Transmitter brings enhanced SubWave sonar technology to your air-integrated setup, letting you monitor up to eight tanks underwater. For each linked tank you can view air pressure, depth, gas use rate and estimated time remaining across multiple types of diving.

The T2 also opens up diver-to-diver communication. Paired with buddies wearing Descent MK3i computers, it supports preformatted messages, so a group can share simple updates at distance underwater. Message exchange reaches buddies networked through their own transceivers up to 30 meters away.

Setup stays straightforward thanks to a simplified pairing process over wireless area networking, which makes it easy to identify each buddy by name alongside the tank transceiver they are using. You can pair up to eight transceivers across a group’s tanks with each compatible air-integrated dive computer within a range of about 10 meters, making the T2 a flexible option for buddy pairs and larger teams alike.
