Apeks DST First Stage

Description

The Apeks DST is the same first stage supplied with the XTX 50 regulator, offered on its own for divers who want a proven, high-performance workhorse. It is an over-balanced diaphragm design that delivers consistent gas flow as tank pressure drops and depth increases, and it is available in DIN configuration only.

A swivelling dry-sealed body keeps the internal springs and moving parts isolated from water, while the environmental seal helps prevent ice formation for confident use in cold conditions. With four low-pressure and two high-pressure ports, hose routing stays clean whether you dive back mount or side mount.

This is a popular standalone choice for divers moving toward twin-cylinder setups, where a dependable, freeze-resistant first stage matters most. Pair it with the optional Apeks 5th Port Turret Upgrade Kit to add an extra low-pressure port and further refine hose routing across single and double-tank configurations.
