The Apeks XL4+ is the newest evolution of the hugely popular XL4 platform. It adds two high-pressure ports and a glossier satin-finished white first stage, and it has proven a hit with divers of every kind. It is a high-performance, compact package offered at a friendly price on a trusted design.
The balanced first stage delivers the same gas pressure regardless of tank pressure, while an aggressively styled heat exchanger helps prevent ice formation in colder water. A grey over-moulded end cap shields the first stage from impact damage across any hose configuration.
The second stage shares the tough, compact character of the standard XL4, making it a favourite with technical divers as either a primary or backup regulator. The Apeks Comfo-Bite mouthpiece keeps it comfortable to breathe from on long dives.
Both the white braided hose and second stage carry UV inhibitors to prevent discolouration over time, so the clean grey-and-white finish stays looking sharp.
