Description
The Apeks XTX 50 is a cold-water-rated, fully balanced regulator built for smooth, consistent breathing at any depth. Its DST first stage uses a balanced diaphragm, so airflow stays even whether you are deep or running low on gas. An environmental seal shields the internal springs and o-rings from cold water and contamination, cutting the risk of a free-flow in the coldest conditions. Two high-pressure ports and four low-pressure ports sit on a swivelling turret for clean, flexible hose routing.
The compact second stage carries a full metal valve barrel and an inlet heat exchanger for efficient cold transfer. A Venturi lever lets you dial the airflow in: toward the diaphragm to stop free-flow at the surface, or toward the mouthpiece for maximum flow underwater. An inhalation-control knob adds a further layer of fine-tuning to the breathing effort.
An interchangeable exhaust cover switches the second stage between a slim, low-drag profile and a wider deflector that pushes exhaled gas away from your face. A black braided low-pressure hose is fitted as standard, giving better UV resistance and a higher burst pressure than a traditional rubber hose.
Available with a DIN or Yoke (INT) first-stage fitting.
